Wenning's note has some bibliographical significance; the colophon states that 200 copies were issued for sale, and three copies, lettered A, B, and C, were reserved for Duncan. In fact, then, Wenning's note indicates that more than three copies were in fact given to the author. Scarce to begin with, and this is one of a very small number of Duncan's presentation copies.
