Description: Here's a vintage approximately 4" x 5" negative of a young Janet Gaynor in a scene from the film, Street Angel from 1928, for which Gaynor earned the very first Best Actress Oscar. Not sure when this vintage negative was produced - comes from the personal collection of Robert Osborne (see below). Great image! The word CELLULOIDMEMORIES will not appear on the actual negative. I have reversed the image so you can see what a positive (or photo) would look like. Remember, you are bidding on a negative only - not a photo. Comes in a marked sleeve. This is being sold strictly as a collectors' item from one collector to another and no rights are transferred or implied. Negatives are shipped in a sturdy weatherproof photo mailer for extra protection. THIS IS A USED NEGATIVE AND IS SOLD AS-IS. Negative is in nice shape overall. Please see pics of reversed image and the actual negative itself. I acquired a HUGE collection of original movie and TV stills, transparencies and negatives. This was from the collection of Robert Osborne, TCM host and movie historian, and there are so many rare images that look to have come directly from the movie studios. Many are in wonderful condition. Keep checking back for more. This is from a smoke-free environment.
