The glass is great, extra-clean and clear. There are a few tiny dust particles inside which will not affect the image quality. The blades are perfect, smooth and free of oil. The shutter speeds sound just right. Not tested with film, just bench-tested. Came from a NYC Pro-Photog's estate. His gear had been well-taken care of. All being tested now and everything is in good working order. If you are not pleased with this lens, you can return it within 3 business days from its receipt, with both shipping fees to and from being paid for by you.
