Description: This is a nifty, rare post card of a husband consoling his wife(relatively clean; w/a number of creases, some rounded corners, and scuffs on the front) sent from Romania(most likely Bucharest or Constanta), to Constantinople, Ottoman Empire via the Romanian Shipping Company in March(?) 1903. The, "BUCURESCI-CONSTANTA-CONSPOLI," CDS is admittedly light/faded in areas, so it is hard to be sure. Also, as the message and address were written in old Turkish/Arabic script, further description of certain aspects of this post card remains difficult. That being said, outside of some minor staining/toning around some of its perfs, and on its face, the red, 10-Bani, Romanian definitive is in pretty good condition! Noted imperfections aside, this remains a unique piece of Romanian and Ottoman Empire postal history!
