Struggling after the end of WW II, Roseville reintroduced their most successful line, Pine Cone, in 1953. It was designated as Pine Cone Modern and shape numbers were in the 400s (all 400 numbers are Pine Cone Modern).Despite it's immediate success, it was not able to save the company. Roseville Pottery regrettably ceased operations in 1954. Due to the short production period, the 400 shapes can be harder to get than many of the original Pine Cone shapes. There was only one original shape produced in this line, so these are not reproductions, but rather new shapes. The tumbler is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. It measure 5.25" and 3" in diameter. I pack well for safe delivery. These are eligible for combined shipping depending on the other piece(s) you are purchasing.
