Description: Description: Up for sale is a beautiful Royal Copenhagen Blue Fluted Half Lace Border Single (1) Bread & Butter Plate (#575). At the time this listing was written, multiple place setting pieces, extra pieces, and many serving pieces were available in this pattern, so be sure and check out my many other lots! The bread & butter plate measures approximately 6.25” in diameter and the pieces in the set are marked with the following backstamp: “Royal Copenhagen Denmark, 1/575,” in addition to the three blue line logo and the initials of the artist. The plate has a white/ivory base with blue floral design and a half lace border. Please note that the pieces are hand painted and each plate may display variations in the intensity of color or unique features/design. The pattern is still active though the years of manufacture for the pieces in this set vary (1956, 1958). The plates are all 1st quality (no mark through the Royal Copenhagen logo). Condition: Overall, the bread & butter plates are all in great condition and look to have been rarely used, if ever. The plates were acquired as part of a much larger set with little history known; however, no major condition issues (chips, cracks, crazing) were noticed upon a thorough inspection. The pieces may show extremely light utensil marks, light cleaning or storage scratches, or minor imperfections to the glaze and/or paint, but the pieces look only lightly used, if ever.
