This catcher was likely used on a cooler in a convenience store, general store, drugstore, diner or restaurant in the 1940s or 1950s. Pressed steel construction. Rubber pads attached on back where catcher rested against front of cooler. Appears to have been painted white for use on a 7-Up or 1960s RC cooler, but traces of the original yellow paint are visible. Discovered among the contents of an estate in eastern Virginia. A great addition to your vintage restaurant ware, vending machine restoration project or RC Cola memorabilia collection! APPROX. SIZE: 25" x 6.75" x 2.25" UNPACKAGED WEIGHT: APPROX. 3 POUNDS and 11 OUNCES CONDITION DETAILS: VERY GOOD. Uncleaned. Visible paint wear and surface rust near bottom.
