Description: For sale is a wonderful antique burgee from the Royal South Western Yacht Club in Plymouth United Kingdom. This very hard to find flag is identified inThe Dumpy Book of Ships and the Sea (1957) which shows the burgee blue with a white cross that tapers to a point at the fly. In the centre is gold fish surmounted by a crown. All linen or linen/wool blend; unusual larger size 30" x 48". Does show some soiling and age, but it is in really good condition for being probably around 100 years old. Would look beautiful framed. In 1961, the Royal South Western Yacht Club and the Royal Western Yacht Club agreed to amalgamate thus ceasing the RSWYC. The flag has a Captain O.M. Watts tag. Please see pics as part of the description. Good Luck & God Bless!
