Description: *** IMPORTANT - READ ALL THIS BEFORE BIDDING/ BUYING ! *** WITH AUCTION ITEMS POSTAGE CHARGES MIGHT CHANGE DEPENDING ON THE FINAL SELLING PRICE SO PLEASE DON’T PAY UNTIL I HAVE INVOICED YOU ! ITEM DESCRIPTION: RUSSIA 1949 AIR STAMP: 2r. SG1547 MLH OG CV £31 (065).Nice clean very fresh looking stamp with very light hinge remains. Getting quite hard to find nice mint examples of this higher denomination 1940s airmail stamp; price reflects that. No obvious faults spotted but see scan/s for condition. See high resolution HONEST scan/s for condition as these contractually form part of the item description. Enjoy the good high-res scan/s for stamp condition (USUALLY BOTH SIDES with higher CV). Bid/ buy with confidence - with my 'Ruskystamps' and 'Ser*e*ndipity' stamp lots you SEE what you are getting! Check my excellent Feedback. Please ask any questions BEFORE bidding/buying! My 'Ser*e*ndipity' eBay account is normally used for special bargains and clearance/ estate Lots. HUGE CLEAR OUT OF DUPLICATE / UNWANTED STAMPS: Starting to clear my surplus stamps, collections and some estate items - especially from Russia (1858-1991). For example - with Russian stamps, I have 10x thick 64-page stockbooks full of my duplicate spares - all stored in date and Stanley Gibbons catalogue order! So if there are specific Russia issues I'm not listing that you are after, contact me with your enquiries - I will have a look with a view to offering them BIN for you. My surplus/duplicate stamps are mostly from Russia, Canada, Newfoundland, Romania, Ottoman Turkey, Great Britain, IOM, Jersey, Guernsey, Faroe Islands; with some British Commonwealth and World stamps from my late father's collection. With most of the latter, these are not from countries I personally collect (my specialisation is Russia), so my knowledge is limited - because of this I cannot guarantee accurate descriptions, SG / Scott numbers and/or listing categories therefore do your own research before bidding / buying. CUSTOMS FEES, TAXES, ETC: Foreign buyers note: Custom duties, fees, tax and any other charges that might apply are the responsibility of the buyer and not the seller. I will not enter incorrect item value information on any customs declaration form (it's illegal - so please do not ask). Make sure you do your own local research before bidding/buying so that you know what any fees are (if applicable) - and to be ready to pay them! Sales to buyers in EU Countries - from 1 July 2021 goods are sent on a "Delivery Duty Unpaid" (DDU) basis. DDU is where recipients in the EU pays any customs, duties and/or fees AFTER their goods have arrived in the destination country. When duty / tax and/or other fees are due, local Customs & Excise (or the local mail agency) will usually contact the recipient who must pay any outstanding charges before their goods are released for final delivery. But note - I send most overseas small stamp lot items in a small handwritten (non-commercial) envelope ;-) MY PRICING: I try and keep my prices competitive - my BIN prices for Russian stamps are largely based on: SG Russia Part 10 (7th Edition) specialised catalogue values; known stamp condition (very honest with this and most stamps with higher CV are are scanned both sides); scarcity; general market conditions. There is also a "dynamic" nature to my prices in that they can rise or fall (sometimes between relisting) based on similar stamps being offered on eBay. Some stamps have a minimum price (usually £2.95) REGARDLESS OF CATALOGUE VALUE (CV) because of the HUGE AMOUNT of TIME it takes to scan stamps properly, crop them in Photoshop, list (and often relist) them on eBay, deal with all the admin, pack the item, 2 mile round trip (walk) to post office!! I also go out of my way to regularly list individual stamps including often low value ones to help collectors fill gaps in their collection. I am a stamp collector, NOT a dealer! I just buy stamps myself on eBay (and from some auctions) to enhance my collection and/or fill gaps, and then sell off any surplus. LEGAL: All pictures/scans legally and contractually form part of the description - make sure you know what you are buying BEFORE you bid or buy. Regret strictly no returns however, any genuine problems or items are not as described, then please contact me before leaving feedback so that I can resolve the issue. WILL MAIL TO: North America, Europe (most), Middle East, Australasia and Asia (most) - in fact to most major "Developed" and "Developing" countries - other countries by prior agreement only IF the buyer pays for fully insured mail service. Stock card/s not always supplied with lower value Lots but are used for scanning purposes. Will combine MOST stamp lots (max 7 calendar days between Lots) to save on P&P but please let me know you are planning to bid on other items then WAIT for INVOICE before paying!! See "COMBINED POSTAGE /SHIPPING" details below. PAYMENT: STRICTLY REQUIRED WITHIN 4 CALENDAR DAYS OF PURCHASE - please advise me if there will be any delay in paying. If you are planning on bidding on other lots, please let me know. And if you are going to be away when the auction/ listing ends, please also let me know - BEFORE you leave! SHIPPING & HANDLING (S&H): Will try and combine stamp lots (when this is viable - max 7 calendar days) to save on S&H. Shipping costs usually net amount charged by the courier/Royal Mail plus a small amount extra for packaging materials. I obtain "proof of posting" with all orders sent but I do not accept any responsibility for items lost in mail unless buyer pays extra for insured service. COMBINED POSTAGE / SHIPPINGWhy not combine with other stamp lots (within 7 calendar days) and save on postage. Place items in the shopping basket, click the "Request Total from Seller" link, WAIT for a combined invoice (BEFORE PAYING - sorry but its too late afterwards because of the way eBay now charges seller fees) then pay just the once on receipt of the combined Lots invoice. NOTE you CANNOT do this if using the eBay mobile App - USE A LAPTOP or PC INSTEAD. UK BUYERS: Typical cost on low value "STANDARD LETTER" sized items weight up to 100 gms, £1.25 for 2nd Class. Items (or Lot totals) of £30 or more will normally be sent by Royal Mail "SIGNED FOR" service charged to the buyer - typically minimum of £2.95 (depending on size, weight and thickness); items over £50 are sent by Royal Mail "SPECIAL DELIVERY" service charged to the buyer - typically £8.95. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: Typical cost on small "STANDARD LETTER" sized items weight up to 100 gms, £2.99. Items (or Lot totals) of £30 or more are normally sent by Royal Mail "INTERNATIONAL TRACKED / SIGNED FOR" service charged to the buyer. Typical cost for Royal Mail " STANDARD LETTER" size envelopes up to max 100 gms weight £8.95. MORE if higher value, and/or over 100 gms; OR the bulk requires a large stiffened mailing envelope or padded envelope. With Lot purchases over £30 total, please WAIT FOR INVOICE BEFORE PAYING. Larger / heavier items will need to be sent by courier but we use the parcel discount broker www.parcel2go.com to keep your S&H costs down to a minimum.
