This is a great mission style light at a reasonable price. It lights well and shines evenly through the entire glass area, with no dead zones. The quality is good and the appearance of this lamp is an attractive addition to any room. This lamp is very nice and a good size. The base is quite sturdy and you attach the glass shade to it with 4 included screws so it will not come off accidentally. The packaging has foam around the outside and a foam block that fits firmly inside the glass so it is unlikely to get broken in transit. The on/off toggle is on the cord but I plugged this into a smart outlet so it can be controlled more easily. Great lamp. Nice warm lighting. These lamps are spectacular. They provide a warmth to the room and are eye catching, especially when they are the only light source. I purchased a pair for a mission styled living room and they are perfect. Highly recommend.
