Finished in a very high quality gloss metallic red, this is a fantastic helmet to keep you comfortable and safe in all conditions! 16 individual vents with 3-way vent settings (fully open, fully closed, partially open) keep you snug or chilled on the mountain, and can be easily adjusted while in use without removing the helmet, using the low profile slider at the top rear. For hot weather, side venting panels are completely removable for maximum air flow, or they can be left in to keep the weather out in extreme conditions. For safety, the moulded construction fuses a tough outer shell with shaped impact foam for extra strength while maintaining an incredibly light weight overall (one of Giro's lightest helmets yet.) Exceeds both US and European safety regulations (ASTM F2040 / CE prEN1077) Fully compatible with Giro goggles, and a chunky goggle strap clip at the back of the helmet makes sure they won't slip or fall off. Inside the X-Static inner lining features comfortable felt padding, and has removeable via velcro attachments for airing or cleaning. The inner lining is also adjustable for maximum comfort, regulates temperature, elminates static on your hair, and is also anti-microbial. At the base of the helmet at the rear, Giro's 'In Form Fit System' makes it easy to create a custom fit to your head shape, simply by rotating the dial/wheel. Super comfy ear pieces keep you nice and snug, while still being able to hear those around you, and the fully adjustable chin strap is also finished in a soft-feel fleece covering for comfort with a solid buckle clip to keep the everything firmly in place!
