Description: A small background history, I was recently at an estate sale for the son or grandson of the father who first started Rockawys' Playland (Geist). I believe the family owned the business until the end in the 80's (started in the 30's). Evidently the grandson/son and spouse were invited to take part in the Sands' 22nd Anniversary celebration in Las Vegas. The theme was "Hooray For Hollywood". The collection includes: ID cards, some travel agency documents (car rental), a daily show program (starring "you"), a yellow and black striped envelope including a menu for the anniversary party, and a packet of 3 letters (welcoming, meet & greet, airport instructions, and a program of special events starting on December 4th, with the finale Oscar Night on the 7th. There is also a folder but that's from the Atlantic City Sands. All is in basically pristine condition.
