Repairs include such problems as broken earphone jacks, motors, broken and worn belts, rewind problems, head alignment, lubrication and cleaning, for a flat rate of $65 plus shipping. This covers 99% of repairs on this model. Repairs including problems such as a defective pc board could run slightly higher. If such a repair is needed, we will contact you with any additional charges. If you decline to have it repaired at that point, your money will be refunded less the return shipping charge. Broken cassette doors are not repairable since the parts are not available. Headsets are not a servicable item so if they are defective, you will need to purchase a new set. You can be assured your unit will be fully functional and ready to use.
