Description: SATO RACING Helmet Lock for 2017-24 Honda CBR1000RR (part# H-CBR117HL) is a tough piston-type lock attached to a black-anodized aluminum mounting bracket. It installs in a convenient location sandwiched between the passenger peg bracket and the seat rail on the left side, giving you a secure way to stow your helmet when parked, and making your CBR1000RR more practical for everyday use. Includes 2 keys. NOTE: the fit photos in this listing show this lock installed on a CBR1000RR without the passenger peg bracket attached. Although it could be installed that way, this lock is actually intended to be installed with the passenger peg bracket in place. *Not directly compatible with 2017-19 CBR1000RR SP (The SP does not have threaded holes in the frame). Not compatible with 2020-24 CBR1000RR-R Fireblade/SP. (Get Helmet Lock part # H-CBR120HL instead.) NOTE: In some cases, the D-ring on the helmet's strap might be a tight reach to the lock clasp. There's an optional accessory we call a HELMET ANCHOR that is very useful in these situations. it is an anchor-shaped aluminum bracket with a hole on top. You slide it through the D-ring on the helmet and loop the hole part through the lock clasp.
