Description: This is a factory barrel off of a Savage Model 16, chambered in 300 Winchester Short Magnum (WSM). The barrel is Stainless Steel, 24 inches in total length, and has a twist to open/close muzzle brake. The barrel is what I'd consider to be a sporter profile, and it does have several significant scratches and blemishes on it, as well as a large ding on the end of the brake. There is also a portion of the threads on the action end that were damaged by a scope base screw that was too long. The barrel nut does thread on and off easily. This barrel is a LARGE SHANK barrel and it will not fit small shank actions. It does include the factory SS barrel nut. I have not fired this barrel and provide no guarantees about it, and recommend inspection and installation by a qualified gunsmith. Thanks for looking and let me know if you have questions.
