Description: I've not seen another one of these up for sale! Anyone who lived in Little Rock (or Arkansas for that matter) during the early '90s remembers well this historical newspaper battle. In October of 1991, the Arkansas Gazette lost its battle with the Arkansas Democrat. The lsat Arkansas Gazette was published October 18, 1991 and the first Arkansas Democrat Gazette was published October 19, 1991. Light scuffs and scratches - normal vintage wear. Under the plastic clearcoat - the white background is uneven and has flecks of discoloration. It looks like this was by design - like the background is possibly made from actual newspaper material? It measures approximately 2 1/8" across and has red writing on a white background. It was made by the United Cerebral Palsy of Little Rock.
