Description: DipTechnics Pearl Powder This listing is for 25 grams (1 bag) of SAZUKA BLUE reflective candy pearl pigment for use in custom auto painting, plasti dipping or beauty products. These pearl pigments will mix with any clear coat or base coats on the market. Our pearl pigments mix with solvent and water based clear coat and base coat paints. At DipTechnics we pride ourselves in providing the highest quality for not just the custom painting industry but the up and coming DIPPING industry. These are quality metallic Iron Mica colored pigments that have a good deal of their own iridescence built right in. You can mix any of our powders into clear PlastiDip and spray over the appropriate basecoat to achieve your desired effect. We recommend a black base coat for optimum results. The Sazuka Blue pearl powder is a great pigment for creating your very own tinted clears in paint, beauty, plastidip, powder-coating applications etc. It is guaranteed to mix well with any clear or tinted candy paints, and has a temperature threshold of about 450 degrees Celsius. Our pearls are a very fine powder and will spray well through airbrushes, powder guns, and HVLP paint guns such as the Earlex range. It is very light which allows it to stay well mixed in the paint without settling too fast in the gun. Mixing The recommended mixing quantities for custom pearls are as follows (Note desired affect may require more/less pigment): Automotive water/solvent based paint – 25g per Litre of Clear or Coloured Paint PlastiDip – 15g per Litre of Clear matte/gloss We recommend mixing your pearl powder into 1 litre of thinner and mixing thoroughly BEFORE mixing into PlastiDip. This ensures the pearl makes its way through the dip evenly.
