Minor hinge reinforcements tastefully done. The 2023 Scott catalog value for very fine is $7. Priced attractively according to condition and scarcity. Postally used blocks of four of the Columbian issue are notoriously difficult to locate. While the Scott catalog values “used” relatively higher than their much more plentiful mint counterparts the catalog does not adequately reflect just how difficult it is to find postally used blocks. Often, in my opinion, the block “multiple” is too conservative relative to true scarcity and the value of individual stamps.
