Description: This CL300 is a very nice example of Selmer's popular student model. It is a quality American-made instrument. You can tell this clarinet was taken care of. The key plating is excellent plus the cork and springs work well. The body of the instrument has very few minor scratches from normal use and there are no cracks. It was just serviced: taken apart and polished - all new Valentino pads were installed - plus the keys were aligned and lubricated when it was re-assembled. This refurbishment will not only make it a fine player now but also it means that it will need less servicing down the road. I started playing clarinet 61 years ago and these days I restore clarinets exclusively. Over the years I've refurbished more than 1,200 of these Bb models, many of which have been sold here on eBay.
