Description: Sequential Circuits Prophet 2000 OS 4.3B EPROM Firmware Upgrade KIT Firmware OS 4.3B is the final upgrade issued by Sequential Circuits for the Prophet 2000. Included will be 1 brand new ROM chip to complete the upgrade. The Prophet 2000 is not for sale. Only the ROM upgrade chip will be supplied. This upgrade is also compatible with the Prophet 2002. Before purchasing, check which firmware your Prophet is running: Open the lid of the sampler and read what is labeled on the ROM chip. The 4.3B upgrade will enable standard 512k Prophet units to accept additional RAM upgrade card kits to 1 Megabyte in total. In addition, will also enable the option to install the 8 out upgrade expansion (if you can even find one in the first place!) Fixed – Resolves the “Note Off” bug that exists in ALL previous firmware revisions when operating in MIDI mode 3b. New - Cross fade looping, Local ON/OFF for the keyboard and MIDI transmit in Mode 4. New - Implementation of MIDI Second Release Pedal to match the HOLD and SUSTAIN commands of other manufacturers.
