Description: The Serbia 1,000 Dinara banknote was released in 2003 by the National Bank of Serbia. The banknotes obverse features industrialist Dorde Vajfert who also served as the bank governor. Also featured in the center is Vajferts brewery which is situated in Belgrade. The vertical-oriented reverse depicts Dorde Vajfert with the interior of the National Bank of Serbias main building in the background. It also displays the seal of the National Bank of Serbia on the upper left and on the bottom is Saint George slaying a dragon. The 151 x 72 mm paper bill bears a holographic patch, a windowed security thread with demetalized Serbian text, and a watermark that reflects Dorde Vajfert. The note also carries the signature of Governor Kori Udovicki. This particular Serbia 1,000 Dinara comes in uncirculated condition.
