Serviced Panasonic Stereo Track Player RS-833S "Swiss Cheese" (See Video In Use)

Description: Up for sale is a great working and sounding portable and at home 8 track tape player made by Panasonic, model RS-833S. It was just serviced so everything is working great! I must ask for you to please read the full description, it will tell you all about the unit as well as information useful about all 8 Track players in general. PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS DAMAGE TO THE PLASTIC CABINET. I've made sure to post clear pictures of the damage to the unit, I used epoxy to fix and strengthen the plastic. If you can overlook the damage, you'll be getting a nice playing unit that displays quite nicely from the front.The size of the unit is 12" wide, 9-1/2" tall (handle up) and 3-1/2" deep. The unit weighs 5 pounds. Please view close-up pictures for cosmetics. The battery compartment is in good condition with oxidation, the video below shows it playing with batteries. It also comes with an AC cord for home use. The sound is nice and clear. It's just a great player from a great name in audio. You have to realize these units are now 45+ years old and time is not kind on lube/grease (dries out), rubber belts (loses elasticity or turns to a gooey mess) and controls/switches (stiff and/or dirty) that haven’t moved in decades. You also want to be sure the unit was serviced by someone with knowledge and not just trying to get it barely working to sell it. I always include a quick video of the unit playing and pictures during the process of servicing. I want to show it does take time to do things right as well as all the little parts that are involved. It’s just too easy for anyone to claim the work has been done in their listing. I do all this to make sure you get a good functioning unit and it will stay that way for some time. Servicing:1.
