Set of 4 finely detailed Rajasthani traditional paintings believed to be part of a religious or "Barahmasa" series depicting various Hindu months and seasons, Krishna and Radhaa. Rich colors and beautiful detail with gold painted highlights. Precise age is unknown. Size of each painting is is 9-3/8" x 12-1/2" (24cm x 32cm) Each bears a sticker on the reverse believed to be from a previous acquisition and/or sale by a noted Dallas, TX dealer in Indian art. There is minor paper loss on the reverse of each from a older mounting/framing. Painting #5 has "Kartak" written in pencil on reverse.Painting #6 has "āshād" written in pencil on reverse.Painting #7 has "Jeth" written in pencil on reverse.Painting #8 has "Vaishākh" written in pencil on reverse.
