Description: Set of 4 hard-to-find mugs made by Mottahedeh of Portugal as part of their Williamsburg reproduction collection. The pattern is called "Gabriel" and features the famous archangel in gold on both sides of the mug with a laurel border around the top, on a mottled matte black background. There is also gold detailing on the white glossy handle. These mugs measure about 4 1/4" tall and 3" in diameter, and are all in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and not much evidence of wear at all. The only little thing I see is a tiny white scuff mark on the front of one of them (see last photo), probably from rough handling. They don't appear to have been used much, if at all. Beautiful set for the upcoming holiday season!
