Description: Maker: This set of 10 coupe soup bowls is by the Charles Ahrenfeldt company, one of the great Limoges firms at the turn of the last century. Age: On each bowl is the green Ahrenfeldt white ware mark number 11 that came into use in 1896. A green decorator's mark from the same period also appears. Source: Distinctive Limoges Porcelain by Keith and Thomas Waterbrook-Clyde. Design: The sets are in the pattern that replacements.com calls AHR1, with a speckled band of little blue, pink and yellow flowers against a background of thin, translucent white porcelain. Size: The bowls are 7 1/8 inches wide at the opening and 1 1/2 inches tall. The set weighs 6 pounds. Condition: There are no marks, nicks, chips, cracks, stains, discoloration, repairs or crazing. All 10 bowls have wear to the gold trim - it's visible in the photos. Please check all the photos very carefully - they are an important part of the description.
