Description: Here is a beautiful set of 10 of O. Henry's works. These books came from a private collection and are in great shape. All of the books have fairly tight binding and all their pages appear to be accounted for. The pages of the books are clear of any markings that I can see, but a few of the books had the previous owner's name penciled in on one of the first few pages (see next paragraph). The gilding (shiny gold coloring) on the tops of these books' text blocks are in great condition as well and show minimal signs of wear. Some of these books appear to have been repaired along their spines. A few of these books also have the previous owner's name penciled in on one of the first few pages. I've removed them, but there is still a faint mark on a few of the books where the names were. One of these books (Cabbages and Kings) didn't erase as well as the others, so the previous owner's name is still semi-visible. The picture I took doesn't show it, but it's easier to see in person.
