Description: Antique Green Top hat shape Glass Buttons- 1940's Pre WWII ” This listing is for a 3 Fabulous Large 7/8" European antique glass buttons. These adorable buttons are a wonderful shade of tan and they resemble a hat as the center protrudes from the piecrust rim. They are a very fun kind of button and I have them in a variety of colors ( pink,green, blue, navy,tan), as well as 3 sizes. These buttons are self shank. They have never been used or been in circulation before. I have removed them from the original card and sewn them to a trade card reproduced from the same period. They come from a card of 12 buttons that were manufactured For the Haute Couture Houses in the early 1900’s. I purchased them from a family member in Europe that had them in storage since WW11. They are wonderful pieces of history that can only add to your crafting projects. These buttons have been stored since the 1940’s so time has stood still for them and they are in new condition. These beautiful glass gems would add a touch of history and beauty to any project whether it is used for sewing or jewelry. I promise you the pictures do not do them justice.
