Description: Maker: On the reverse of these 4 beautiful rimmed soup bowls is back stamp number 33 of Theodore Haviland, one of the great Limoges firms at the turn of the last century; this mark was in use between 1903 and around 1925. Source: third edition of the Collector's Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain by Mary Frank Gaston. Design: The pattern - called Schleiger 141-4 - has delicate pink flowers and green leaves on pure white fine quality porcelain. Haviland pattern identification disclaimer: The Haviland companies produced between 30,000 and 60,000 china patterns, many with only slight variations, and the identification of this item's pattern is not guaranteed. If you are trying to match a Haviland pattern, please check all the photos in this listing very carefully against your own items to be sure this is the right pattern for you. Size: The bowls are 9 1/2 inches wide, 1 5/8 inches tall and together weigh 3 pounds 6 ounces. Condition: They are in excellent condition with no marks, nicks, cracks, stains, discoloration, repairs, crazing or significant wear. One has a small chip on the underside rim - it's shown in the photo with the red arrow and is not visible when the bowl is in use or on display. Please check all the photos very carefully - they are an important part of the description.
