Description: I was traveling just before covid down rt 66 in the southwest and found an abandon diner off a side road. I stopped to ask a guy who owned the diner and he said he inherited it in the 1980s. He said then it was shut down. he offered to show it to me and it was like time forgot it. There was a tax stamp on the cash register that showed the place was last opened in 1976. He said the national park service changed the route of route 66 the year before that and basically no traffic was going down this road. He believed the place was built in the late 50s or early 60s. I had good intentions of using these in my home but we have a very modern home and I still have to live with my wife. (by law) The Chrome needs polished the vinyl is really still good. I am kinda shocked, it wasnt dried out. will have to be either picked up or shipped by tractor trailer. please understand shipping to a residence cost a lot of money. but shipping to a business with a dock is much cheaper.
