Description: 6 Antique French Limoges Tressemanes & Vogt #1497 Salad Plate Floral from the 1890s This is a beautiful Antique China 8 3/8” inch salad plate that was made between 1890 and 1893. It was made by Delinierers Co. Limoges, France. Produced in a porcelain factory partnered by Gustave Vogt (1849-1937) and Émilien de Tressemanes. Their partnership began in 1882 when they ran the Limoges-based decorating firm founded in the 1850s by John Vogt. Their factory produced high-quality whiteware for the American export market. These plates are in very good condition with some very minor wear on the gold trim. They have no chips, cracks, or repairs. 3 are marked D & C on the back along with the ‘Tressemanes & Vogt Limoges’ stamp on the back of the plate and 3 just have the ‘Tressemanes & Vogt Limoges’ stamp. These are a beautiful piece of history.
