Description: This is a set of Singer Sewing Machine Model 101 top and and bed spool pins, part numbers #66656 and #66608, newly manufactured. Shipped with USPS First Class. These were machined in USA using stainless steel to the exact specs from an original Singer 101. The top spool pin measures 1 7/8 inches in length. The bed spool pin is used for bobbin winding and measures 2 3/8 inches in length. Like the originals, the bottom of the pins are threaded and there is a slot at the top. The set is photographed with a pair from an original 101. The set for sale is pictured on the right hand side of the photo. The left hand pins are the original. The 101 was Singer’s very first residential sewing machine specifically designed to be used as an electric sewing machine. It was was introduced in 1920 and production ended in 1932. During the twelve years of production 230,475 of these machines were manufactured. The consumer cost per machine was very high when compared to a treadle or an electrified treadle at the time, of $140.00 to $170.00.
