Description: This is a pair of vintage Masons Patent Ironstone China-Chelsea Patt-Dbl Handle Bowls Cups. I believe the design is hand painted, you can feel the raised areas of paint. I'm not certain of the date of these...I'm thinking these are quite old, probably antique. There are other marks on bottom that may offer clues, not sure if it's 2/11's or what. They are in amazing condition, no stains, chips, cracks but there is an allover crazing on both. I tried to show a mark in bottom of cup that may be a blip of clay in firing, I can't tell. Each cup weighs 2.6 ounces and measure 4" across at top. NOTE: Three cats wandered into my gravitational field and my heart. They live indoors only and even though I try my best to keep them away there may be one or two...or three cat hairs included. If you are allergic please don't buy.
