Description: Raspberry Pi Block Erupter Mining Start Mining with Your Pi! Setup Guide | ASIC USB Block Erupter Bitcoin Miner on Raspberry Pi Online Course! Product Description Some heading goes here --> I’ve created a very easy script that does all the hard work of installing and completely configuring your RaspberryPi to mine with the USB Block Erupter. This is ONLY a guide how to set up these block erupters on RasberryPi’s on any Raspbian OS. This guide will only work for these block erupters, NOT for any other USB miners out there on the market. This guide will get you up and running with your block erupter in no time, I have followed my own guide many times as I’ve setup LOTS of these miners. --> This listing includes an easy walk-through guide to get you setup and running easily! Please know that these are NOT profitable Bitcoin miners. These were released in 2013 and are now massively inadequate in terms of mining power by todays standards. They are to be viewed as neat collectible pieces of bitcoin history and memorabilia. They are great for learning, gifting, tinkering with, and are fun to try and solo "lotto" mine with. There are other miners available elsewhere that are much more powerful and profitable than these. Please do your own research before purchasing this item. Please know that this miner is now massively inadequate in terms of mining power; many Bitcoin mining pools do not recognize miners with a hash rate of under 1000 MH/s (1 GH/s) when pointed to their pools. Even if they did, this miner would never contribute enough hash power to ever accumulate enough Bitcoin to reach a payout threshold. There are however other cryptocurrencies that use the same SHA256 algorithm as Bitcoin that you might be able to mine using this Block Erupter. I have not personally attempted this. The ASIC Miner Block Erupter is a 330 MH/s SHA256 miner. That means that it can only mine coins that use the SHA256 algorithm such as bitcoin, bitcoin cash, bitcoin SV, DigiByte, and almost 100 other coins. Having said that, please keep in mind that these miners are antiquated, so it isn't going to be effective in mining much of anything. Unlike most ASIC miners, the USB Block Erupter is easy to manage, doesn’t require expensive power supplies, doesn’t generate any noise, and are very portable. This listing ONLY includes the guide, nothing else is included, nothing will be shipped as this is a digital guide. NO USB MINERS ARE INCLUDED IN THIS PURCHASE. This Guide Includes: Downloading the Mining Software Feature 3 Feature 4 --> Some Interesting History About Bitcoin Mining and the Asicminer USB Block Erupter: On January 30th, 2013 Jeff Garzik received the first commercially available ASIC Bitcoin miner (Avalon miner). Just 4 months later, another company named ASICMiner released the first ever USB powered ASIC Bitcoin miner for the home hobbyist. the ASICMiner Block Erupter Sapphire originally retailed for 1.99 BTC a piece at official release date on May 2013. Market value for 1.99 BTC was around $200-$225 USD at the time.
