Description: This book is in like new condition very light, barely visible slide marks on the dust jacket. My father was a passionate collector of WWII aviation books, autographs and memorabilia. He collected these artifacts, historical documents, books, and signed photographs, among other things. This item is part of his collection. He was born the son of a WWII B-17 Bomber pilot and even had a B-17 named after him called the Off-Spring. My Grandfather had incredible experiences as a pilot during WWII, and I’ve heard the most hair-raising stories you could imagine. I am so grateful for these truly extraordinary people who were brave beyond what most of us could ever fathom. My deepest regards to those who preserve and maintain these historical records that are the living history of the world. I salute you.
