Snyder,Born Dec. 11, 1848,Died March 17, 1914.Age 65 yrs. 3 mos. 6 days.Sarah Landis Shreiner was born 11 December 1848 in Manheim, Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania, daughter of George Yundt Shreiner (1822 - 1907) and Elizabeth Frick Landis (1829 - 1997). About 1864, she married Abraham Brubaker Snyder, born 18 April 1842 in Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania, son of Christian Snyder (1809 - 1868) and Barbara Brubacher (1813 - 1893). Sarah passed away 17 March 1914, and Abraham followed a few months later on 8 September 1914. They rest together in Risser's Mennonite Cemetery, Elizabethtown, Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania.Sarah and Abraham's children include: Simon Shreiner Snyder (1865 - 1926), Elizabeth "Lizzie" Shreiner Snyder Helfrich (1866 - 1954), Emma Shreiner Snyder Smyser (1868 - 1942), Monroe Shreiner Snyder (1872 - 1963), David Shreiner Snyder (1877 - 1956) The cabinet card measures 4.25 x 6.5 inches and is in excellent, almost pristine condition for its age, but as to be expected with a cabinet card over 100 years old, it isn't perfect.
