If the condition of a jewel case is important to you, email me before bidding.) Mint (M): Absolutely perfect in every way. (I do not use this grade. If an item is still sealed, I’ll just say that.)Near Mint (NM): Nearly perfect. A lightly used item that shows virtually no wear. Discs are unmarked. Tray cards and booklets will appear new. Many dealers won’t give a grade higher than NM, implying (perhaps correctly) that no item is ever truly perfect. (NM is my top grade.)Very Good Plus (VG+): An item that shows some signs of use but is still in nice shape. A VG+ CD will play as new, though it will show some signs of use including light scratches. Tray cards and booklets will appear handled, with care, and punch holes, etc. may be present. Very Good (VG): An item’s defects will be more pronounced. A VG CD will show more noticeable signs of use, e.g., markings to the top side or heavier scratches. It will still play as new. Tray cards and booklets will have more noticeable wear, such as price stickers, small tears, or creasing.(I will not offer CDs grading below VG.)
