Frederick Gordon Fraser (1879-1931 was a landscape painter in watercolour who was a member of the artistic Fraser family originally from Holywell in Bedfordshire. He was the son of army surgeon Dr Robert Winchester Fraser who settled in Bedford in 1861 and had six other sons and two daughters, many of whom took up painting. Other brothers of this painter who are known artists are Arthur Anderson Fraser, George Gordon Fraser and Gilbert Baird Fraser. Frederick Gordon Fraser exhibited in 1907 at Elands Art Gallery in Exeter (both river landscapes), His biographical information is listed in Hidden Talents, by Jeremy Wood, 1994.
