Check out his website for background). The signed item is 100% authentic. Condition note! This hat was signed by Kirk Hammett underneath the bill. It's 100% authentic, but the hat is in rough shape. I won't sugar-coat it, the hat shows a LOT of wear - has some rain stains, has some sweat stains around the band, the outside is a little stiff from having been worn/wear on it, and it isn't pretty. The signature has also run a bit from water/wear/sweat. I don’t know if yo7 can wash or dry clean it as I haven’t attempted to do so. BUT...it is 100 % real. Great way to get a real Kirk signature and unique item cheap... Please view the photos for the condition - I try and call out any major flaws, but the photos best describe the overall condition...
