Francisca Huezo grew up surrounded by family and friends who were artists such as her father, Don Manuel Huezo well-renowned master craftsman cabinetmaker & carpenter, and her nationally recognized brother Roberto Huezo. Her journey began to take its own course between the 1974-1979 in La Palma, Chalatenango where she began to experiment with and create an entirely new style of embroidery stitching which eventually led to her to design a clothing line. After the successful sale of her entire inventory, she felt compelled to continue with her creative ideas, which in turn became her life’s work. In the 1980s Francisca Huezo began traveling to other countries such as Mexico, Costa Rica and Nicaragua creating her artwork to reflect the different indigenous aspects and cultural inspirations that surrounded her. In 1992 she returned to the roots she had established in El Salvador and began reinventing herself once again. During this time period she embraced the idea of painting the peoples and characters from her travels in vibrant bold colors. Currently, ____________________________ ATTENTION!
