Description: From Silverlit Toys, this is Program-A-Bot (EI-181), a battery-operated, programmable robot. In hard white and black plastic, Program-A-Bot has a turning head, flashing eyes, IR communicator, adjustable joints, swinging arms and moving legs and feet. A programmable "space pack" with On/Off switch is attached to the back (non-removable) and the battery compartments are in the legs. The robot's thumb moves a bit so that the hands can hold simple objects, a pen or pencil for example. Program-A-Bot comes with a small, interactive Maxi Pal plastic wind-up robot friend. Program-A-Bot stands 11 1/2 inches tall and weighs 1 lb. 8 1/4 ounces (with batteries). Maxi Pal stands 4 inches tall. and weighs 1 3/4 ounces. Program-A-Bot requires 4 x "AA" size alkaline batteries and Maxi Pal requires 2 "LR44" button cell batteries. All batteries will be included installed (see below). A Phillips-head or crosshead screwdriver is required for future battery installation (not included). Recommended for ages 5 and up.
