Description: SIMTEX vintage TABLECLOTH that is 51" x 61' in BLUE AND WHITE with LEAF design woven into the cloth. This is a woven design not a printed one. There is an overall large check pattern with the MAPLE LEAVES on a vine that trails across the checks. I have collected table linens for years and it is rare and nice to have a sewn in label like this one that has "Simtex" with a small flower on it (see photos) on one side of the tag and "made right in America" on the backside of the tag. This looks unused to me - no holes or stains! Excellent bright color and condition! The ends of the cloth have a small rolled hem and the sides are selvedged. This is ready to use and grace your table! Simtex Mills popularly produced tablecloths in the late 1940s and 1950s. I believe they stopped production in 1968!
