Description: For auction a great replacement part for anyone who is missing a 3 3/4" diameter heat cap for their lamp. The cap measures 3 3/4" outside diameter and 3 1/2" slip fit or inside diameter. The cap is in a brown green patina. You can also use this cap for shades that sit on three arms known as spiders or a 10" ring and the shade has a raised neck that is just a tad larger than the inside measurement. Art glass shades blown by Steuben, Tiffany, Quezal, Durand, and Lustre Art as well as Loetz could use this heat cap as long as the fitter or neck size is 3 3/4" This cap would act as a slip fit cover over the raised neck of the shade or can be mounted to cover the top of leaded glass shade that sits on a lamp base.
