Description: Nice petite size cast iron balance scale marked only with the No. 4. Love the size of this scale, measures across the base 10-1/2” - about 15-1/2” across the top with the brass pan and about 9” to top edge of pan. Not sure if paint is original but looks nice and this has not been painted over several times. Sliding weight adjusts to 16 ounces but additional weights could be used on the plate. This has no extra weights with it. The brass pan is in rough condition it has a lot of dings and edge is bent in places but it looks nice on the scale. Packed carefully to avoid damage as you know cast iron is heavy so postage might seem a bit high.
