This distributor requires an external 12 volt coil for electronic ignition and it is NOT included in this listings. Distributor works on SMALL BLOCK FORD 221-260-289-302 from 1962 thru the mid 1980's that are carbureted. **PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST RUN EXTERNAL COIL WITH THIS DISTRIBUTOR and it is NOT included. Coil needs to be a 12 Volt coil for electronic ignition with a primary resistance of 1 ohm or less and have an output of 45,000 volts or more. It will NOT work with a points coil.
