Bottle is an ORIGINAL ANTIQUE Blown Glass bottle with a cork top, dating back a good hundred years or older. Bottle embossed: "WILD ROOT / COMPANY INC / BUFFALO, N.Y." Condition: Bottle is thick and heavy, in very sturdy condition. It has wear and an aged, dull finish. It has one tiny shaving of glass missing from the side of the lip but otherwise there isn't anything specifically wrong with it. NO cracks, chips, dings, damage, etc. Age: An ORIGINAL ANTIQUE blown-glass bottle (ABM) with a CORK TOP, ca. early 1900's. Shipping: FREE domestic shipping, includes insurance. It comes in a unique shape/design, kind of six sided if you are looking at it from the base. These mostly come in clear glass and in a larger size, and it seems that most of the ones you see for sale are the newer screw top bottle. This one is small, most probably a 'SAMPLE' or 'TRIAL' size as this 3 1/2 inch size would not hold much more than this. The color is different than most, it looks BLACK until you pick it up and hold it up to the light, whereas you see it is really a deep amber color, so it would fit into a line up of colored hair bottles. Colored hair bottles are one of the most beautiful categories of antique bottles to collect as they come in a nice variety of shapes and colors and this 'black' one would complement any string of colored hair bottles, check it out!
