He also studied at the Eastman School of Music. He began his teaching career as a part-time music instructor with the Canandaigua City School District in 1957 and eventually became the band director at Canandaigua Junior Academy. In 1970 he became the director of bands at Canandaigua Senior Academy, a post he held until 1978. In the early 1980’s he joined Columbia Pictures Publications in Miami, Florida, eventually becoming the director of Instrumental Publications for Columbia. Jack Lamb passed away from Leukemia on December 5, 2018, at the age of 83. We are a small non-profit in Birmingham, Alabama.We sell donated sheet music and method books that we cannot use in our Scrollworks program at this time.All proceeds from our sales are used to provide instruction on orchestral instruments, piano and voice to children who otherwise would not have access, including children with disabilities.
