The final revision date in both the index and on many of the diagrams is 1951. None of the diagrams are marked with build dates or locomotive manufacturers. All have detailed measurements and engineering data for each steam locomotive. Some are marked for SP subsidiary the San Diego and Arizona Eastern. The indexes note locomotive numbers for each class and sub class. Other notes include locomotives on lease.
