Description: TINY Southwest Native American Vintage Turquoise Shadowbox Silver Teardrop Pendant This very small pendant is preowned, is vintage from the 1970-1980s, perhaps a bit later, and is from the Southwest United States. It is a Native American item, it is unsigned. It is a small teardrop shape pendant, in shadowbox form, with a small square or diamond shaped turquoise stone. We believe the item is most likely Zuni or Navajo. It is unmarked by the artist or for silver content. The item has been tested and it does test positive for silver, of at least 800 or more. This pendant measures 3/4" long x 3/8" wide. Conditional issues are a small chip in the turquoise at the top, it is not apparent if it is original or from use and wear. The black enamel in the back is a bit faded and the silver could use a good polish. There are surface scratches, signs of rubbing and use and wear. It is a lovely, delicate, small pendant that can be worn with a chain with the attached jump ring or through the original design's metal band at the top.
