This particular model airplane from Enterprise, released in 1954, used the Space Bug Jr. engine. Made of a very lightweight wood frame, it was intended to be easily assembled and painted by the user. Though the engine worked best with the Thimble-Drome Glow Fuel, it could be powered by any compatible fuel.Very few planes like this have survived to the modern day due to their fragility, and this one is practically never seen: it's completely unassembled and unused in the original box. A few of the wood pieces were punched out of their frames, but all of the pieces shown in the instructions appear to be present. Note that some signs of age are present regardless: the wire pieces have rusted, the wood pieces have some light spotting, and the box itself has tears and staining. I repaired the box with a bit of professional binding glue and binding tape to reinforce it, so it holds together fine.It will be carefully packaged to ensure it reaches the buyer safely, and full insurance in the sale amount will be included at no extra cost.
