Spanish Galleon Armada 1733 Ballast Stone Belt Buckle on Leather Belt

Description: You are bidding on a Vintage Signed Ballast Stone Silver Plated Belt Buckle on a Leather Belt. The Ballast stone is in very good condition. It is a Cloudy Polished Gray Oval shaped (1-3/8" x 1") . The buckle is Oval shaped with the following raised markings "BALLAST FROM SPANISH GALLEON ARMADA" with the Year "1733" at the Top. The size of the buckle is 3-1/4" wide x 2-3/4" high. I am not sure of the base metal but it appears to be silver plated. The back is inscribed in cursive. "AUTHENTIC BALLAST STONE RECOVERED FROM THE SPANISH TREASURE ARMADA WRECKED OFF THE COAST OF FLORIDA IN 1733" Condition (see pictures): The stone in this buckle is in excellent condition. The front of the buckle is in great shape with some tarnish, but no significant wear. The back side of the buckle is tarnished and shows wear that does make the inscription difficult to read. The leather Belt is in very good condition.
